  • lifehacker; tips for life

    one suggestion on lifehacker was:
    “I bring my girlfriend along to the tech stores, or discuss all of my
    potential purchases with her. If I get ‘The Look,’ I usually think
    twice about getting it. If she seems to take it in stride, I know I’m
    not being too impulsive.”

    hehe; this sounds like a good idea
    i mean; well, i guess i already know i could do this- but most of the time i know that i’m going to get ‘the look’ anyways; so i just buy the gadget without asking about it-
    sorta defeats the whole purpose, huh?

  • my xanga is fixed!

    so crazy story-

    i got xanga lifetime, and i started to add themes to my xanga page- when i turned off themes, my xanga URL started to take me to natasha liou’s xanga site! lol. but; not even- it was like, her xanga from ages ago.

    what i have concluded from this is:

    1. xanga’s help system sucks; they have no contact number or email readily available for you
    2. they tried to ‘fix’ my xanga by just making my theme look like my old xanga skin- but when i took off themes, the problem was still there.
    3. they never emailed me back or tried to contact me to help me solve the problem
    4. i just paid something like $100 bucks for lifetime; what a waste of my money- those punks. stinky service
    5. i ended up fixing the problem myself by going to safe mode and deleting all the coding that was there. lol

  • hello world::

    i haven’t really posted up here for a long long time- i guess it’s time i put some of my brain farts out in all its pixalted glory for the rest of the world to read;

    senior year is passing by extremely fast- the last semester was basically consumed by my senior design project, which involved designing a Quick Changeover design for Ampac Flexibles’ lamination process. the work load consisted of putting in 20 hours of design work per week, on top of my 14 hours class; not including trips to Chicago about every other week to meet with the company.  -that pretty much made me throw out my previous plans of 2nd shooting weddings with KennyKim for that semester; maybe this semester i’ll have more time to do more photography work

    winter break has pretty much gone and passed, too; but it definitely has been a blesssing time, having attended the Sojourners, AF1, and OIL retreats;

    mm; this post seems forced and disjointed

    i guess i’m rusty at expressing myself.

    maybe another time;

  • one more to go;;

    senior design is pretty much over; all that’s left are the exit procedures and stuff-w00t.
    i’m looking forward to putting all this fatty experience down on my resume

    one more final tomorrow; studying is hard. i just want to be done

    so i got to play with the 24mm f/1.4L; man, primes really are sweet. the colours are just amazing.
    kinda tempted to get a wide prime; maybe it’s just because i’m a poser and i want to be like jesh de rox , but who doesn’t? haha

    i sense a purchase of some actions in the near near future
    hello CS3, move over lightroom
